The Department of Mechanical Engineering (http://me.tedu.edu.tr/en/me) invites applications for a tenure track/tenured faculty position to begin September 2016. We will consider exceptional candidates in all areas of mechanical engineering.
For tenure track positions highly motivated and research driven candidates are sought. For tenured faculty positions the candidate should have demonstrated excellence in original research.
We are especially interested in, but not limited to, candidates in the following two focus areas:
- Manufacturing Technologies: Manufacturing processes, MEMS, multi-scale manufacturing, computer integrated manufacturing systems, non-traditional production methods…
- Robotics, Systems and Control Engineering: Robotics and automation, flexible multi-body dynamics, robotic manufacturing assembly lines, medical robots, micro robots, computer communication systems, …
Faculty responsibilities will include teaching at the undergraduate level, research and the candidate will be expected to contribute to the departmental administrative duties.
For tenure track candidates: applicants should hold a PhD in a relevant field by the beginning of the appointment period.
